Description

Want to test out an App prior to purchasing? Have a question around security/parental settings? Trying to fix a problem, but need a quieter environment? Thinking of purchasing an iPad for your child?

AutismBC is excited to be hosting another ‘Learn with Apple’ morning in their Metrotown store on Sunday, May 28th.

From 9am – 11am the store will only be open to AutismBC members, so families and individuals who use Apple technology and/or would like to learn more can access the store in a quieter, more relaxed environment.

  • Apple specialists will be on hand to answer questions and assist in the following;

  • Built in features of the iPad and how those can be best utilized (i.e.: Guided Access, Family Sharing Parental Controls)

  • Talk about a few different AAC apps (Proloquo2go, Pogo Boards, demonstrate how to compare apps on the app store/safari)

  • Talk about included apps, like the camera, pages, iMovie, swift playgrounds, etc

  • Field questions

  • Provide accessibility specific support resources

This event is free of charge, but please send your RSVP so we know what numbers to expect.
