AutismBC Goes to Science World Sensory Friendly Morning

October 26, 2019
8:00-10:00
Science World at TELUS World of Science, 1455 Quebec Street, Vancouver

AutismBC Goes provides free, safe, and supportive community events where everyone can be themselves. These events are an opportunity for our members to come together, talk and, have fun with others who understand and share similar life experiences. Our goal is to reduce financial barriers to recreation and promote inclusion for people on the autism spectrum and their families.

Join us at Science World on Saturday, October 26th for a FREE, family-friendly adventure. Sensory Friendly Mornings are exclusive events for individuals and families living with autism or sensory processing differences. Guests can enjoy Science World exhibits in a comfortable, welcoming and less crowded environment. Wherever possible, exhibits will have adjusted operations and lowered volume levels from 8am to 10am. Volume levels and exhibit operations will return to their usual settings at 10am, when we open to the public. Guests are welcome to stay and explore Science World as long as they wish.

AutismBC is offering 50 free tickets to this event. Tickets will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis until they're all gone.

An adult attendant/care-giver who is supervising a visitor with disabilities will receive a complimentary daytime general admission (1:1 ratio) upon arrival and does not need to request a ticket. Please only request free tickets for visitors with disabilities and any additional (non-caretaker) visitors.
