Intro to BI Training Workshop

March 28-29th, 2020
Time: 9:30pm-4:30pm

Location: Live Online

Join us for a two day introduction to Applied Behaviour Analysis and the implementation of autism behaviour plans. You will leave the course with practical tools you can use in the home or learning environment. Past attendees have included parents who want to learn more of the role of a BI, students interested in becoming a BI, educators, classroom assistants and other individuals who work with or support children on the spectrum. Upon completion of the course, you will be sent a certificate to confirm your attendance.

You will receive a digital PDF of the slides of the presentation before the workshop. In an effort to reduce printing impact on the environment, please think before printing. We recommend that you bring a notebook to take notes during the presentation.

Meet your instructor: Lindsay Parrott is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She designs comprehensive applied behaviour analytic or ABA programs for students diagnosed with autism in the home, school and community settings.  Lindsay has 12 years of experience working in the field of ABA with students ranging from 20 months to 20 years old in all areas of the autism spectrum. Lindsay completed a Masters of Education degree in Special Education with a Concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of the Fraser Valley.
