“My Child with Autism is Becoming an Adult/Has Become an Adult: Now What Do I Do?”

Families with young adult on the spectrum or teens transitioning into adulthood often asked for resources and have many questions regarding the next step and the future, and how to live a happy, fulfilling life, able to live out their dreams.

 

We will explore this topic with our speaker Pam Collins. Pam will also present on PATH: What is PATH (Planning Alternate Tomorrows with Hope) and how does it work?

 

Speaker:

Pam Collins is the very proud parent of two very different thinking young adult sons! She is also a Positive Behaviour Support Consultant/Parent Trainer for Reach Child and Youth Development Society. She is a recognized educational speaker for families and teaching staff of exceptional children. She is a co-founder of the Richmond Autism Interagency Committee – a group dedicated to increasing opportunities for people with autism to be accepted and celebrated in their communities.
