Description

Adventures in Autism is a set of four, fun filled camps for children 7-12 years old with autism (or suspected autism) that are being held at the Northern BC YMCA Rec Room in Prince George. Each day will feature a dinosaur themed camp and a pirate themed camp. Kids can choose to attend one camp, two camps, or if there is room, all four camps. Each camp is led by a BI from Sources BC, and are sensory friendly. A healthy snack of fruit, popcorn and bottled water will be provided. Parents are responsible for providing lunch before the kids come to camp.

Details on Each Camp:

During Adventures in Autism with Dinosaurs, kids will make dinosaur masks from paper, and dinosaur fossils from clay. The camp will also feature interactive games and learning activities, along with story and snack time. The games and story will be related to dinosaurs.

During Adventures in Autism with Pirates, kids will make pirate telescopes from toilet paper rolls, and pirate puppets from craft supplies. The camp will also feature interactive games and learning activities, along with story and snack time. The games and story will be related to pirates.

Note: We have a limit of 8-12 kids per camp

Cost is $20.00. No tax.
